Sensys Gatso Australia received technical and legislative approval for the Gatso T-Series Mobile Digital Road Safety Camera (MDRSC)

11-12-2019

Sensys Gatso Australia, a subsidiary of Sensys Gatso Group, a global leader in traffic safety solutions, has received technical and legislative approval for the Gatso T-Series Mobile Digital Road Safety Camera (MDRSC). This approval enables Victoria Police to use the Sensys Gatso T-Series MDRSC systems to enforce and deter speeding motorists "anytime, anywhere" across the State of Victoria.

The Mobile Digital Road Safety Camera System is underpinned by the Sensys Gatso T-Series enforcement platform which uses world class Multi Tracking Radar, able to track and measure speeds of multiple vehicles across more than 6 lanes. It has an exclusively designed 20 Megapixel camera that produces high quality images and purpose designed software for the Australian marketplace.

Sensys Gatso Australia's Managing Director Enzo Dri comments: "We are proud of this significant outcome. It has been achieved by working collaboratively with the State of Victoria and its road safety program. We believe this solution will assist in reducing the number of speeding vehicles on the Victorian road network and subsequently contribute to the minimisation of serious injuries and fatalities.

The information was submitted for publication, through the agency of the contact person set out above, at 08:30 on December 11, 2019.
