Implementation of new legislation in Iowa, USA
Sensys Gatso Group, a global leader in traffic safety solutions, announces that, as part of new automated traffic enforcement legislation in Iowa, each location where automated speed enforcement was already being used, had to receive a permit through the Iowa Department of Transportation (IaDOT). The IaDOT released its decisions on submitted permit applications for automated speed enforcement systems. Sensys Gatso is currently investigating the financial impact. As the outcome of our customers' appeals could have an impact on this analysis, we cannot yet evaluate the potential effect of the implementation of the new legislation.

Sensys Gatso successfully issues senior unsecured floating rate bonds of EUR 30 million to further accelerate growth
Sensys Gatso Group AB (publ), (the “Company”) has successfully raised EUR 30 million through the issuance of senior unsecured bonds with a four years tenor and a floating rate interest of Euribor 3 months + 4.75% per annum under a framework of EUR 60 million (the “Bonds” and the “Bond Issue”). The net proceeds from the Bond Issue will partly be applied to refinance existing debt and primarily towards general corporate purposes, including investments in working capital and fixed assets in operation to accelerate further growth of the Company. The Company will apply to have the Bonds admitted to trading on the corporate bond list of Nasdaq Stockholm.

Sensys Gatso contemplates issuance of senior unsecured bonds
Sensys Gatso Group AB (publ), (the “Company”) has mandated Carnegie Investment Bank as arranger and bookrunner to arrange a series of fixed income investor meetings commencing on September 2, 2024, to explore the possibility to issue new senior unsecured callable floating rate bonds in an expected amount of EUR 30,000,000 and with a tenor of four years.

Sensys Gatso receives red light TRaaS contract worth SEK 25 million with Montgomery Township, PA
Sensys Gatso Group, a global leader in traffic safety systems, through its subsidiary, Sensys Gatso USA, has executed a seven-year base-term automated red light enforcement contract with the Township of Montgomery, PA. The contract, which is estimated to be worth up to $2.4 million (USD) was the result of a competitive vendor selection process. The program will include red light enforcement systems. The program is anticipated to begin in late fall.

Sensys Gatso signs procurement contract in the Netherlands
Sensys Gatso Group, a global leader in traffic safety solutions, through its subsidiary Sensys Gatso Netherlands, signed the procurement contract with the Dutch Public Prosecution Services. The award of this SEK 84 million contract was announced on 14 June 2024.

Sensys Gatso has been selected as a vendor to deliver Average Speed Enforcement in the Netherlands, with an estimated revenue of SEK 84 million
Sensys Gatso Group, a global leader in traffic safety solutions, through its subsidiary Sensys Gatso Netherlands, has been selected as one of four vendors for a procurement contract to supply, operate and support section control systems for average speed enforcement on highways in The Netherlands. Sensys Gatso expects to receive its fair share. The contract value for Sensys Gatso is approximately EUR 8 million or SEK 84 million over the minimum contract period of 6 years. The recurring TRaaS revenue, relating to Service, Maintenance and Operations of the section control systems, is estimated at SEK 48 million, or 57% of the total contract value. The remaining part of SEK 36 million, is System Sales revenue. The investment by the Dutch Public Prosecution Services authority is aiming to replace the existing automated traffic enforcement infrastructure.

Sensys Gatso has started issuing caution notices on schedule in Ghana
Sensys Gatso Group, a global leader in traffic safety solutions, through its 40% joint venture share in Nationwide Traffic Management & Enforcement Ltd (NTMEL) in Ghana, has started issuing caution notices on 4 June 2024. Citation issuance is scheduled for 18 July 2024. NTMEL was awarded an 11 year contract by the Government of Ghana to Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Maintain a national road safety program at the end of December 2022. Total contract value for the joint venture over the term of the contract is estimated at SEK 800 million. Sensys Gatso’s shareholding in NTMEL gives the right to a 40% profit share.

Sensys Gatso Group, a global leader in traffic safety solutions, through its subsidiary Sensys Gatso USA, has executed a five-year base-term automated traffic enforcement contract renewal with the Village of Libertyville, IL. The renewal contract is estimated to be worth up to USD 512,000, corresponding to SEK 5.5 million.
