Gatso wins order worth EUR 17,5 million

SENSYS Traffic AB, a global supplier of traffic safety solutions, entered an agreement to acquire GATSO Beheer B.V., leading provider of traffic enforcement solutions, on the 22nd of June 2015. GATSO has received an order worth EUR 17,5 million for the delivery of mobile speed enforcement systems.

The order is for a new customer, comprising the delivery of a large quantity of mobile speed enforcement systems, a fully equipped workshop and extensive knowledge transfer for integration, maintenance and calibration. First shipment i scheduled for July 2015 and delivery completion is expected by the end of 2015.

Edmar van der Weijden, GATSO's Sales and Marketing Director comments: "GATSO successfully passed extensive trials before the contract was finally awarded. Derived from our many years of experience in France and the USA we have engineered a near-invisible solution that can operate efficiently large scale under extreme environmental conditions. Even in countries with an established traffic enforcement program our Mobile T-Series is a powerful to dramatically reduce fatal road crashes".

Sensys' acquisition of Gatso Beheer is expected to be finalised on the 31st of July 2015 following an approval by the Extra General Meeting in Sensys on the 24th of July 2015.
